Unlike some incremental games where automation trivializes play, Scritchy Scratchy's Auto Scratcher has meaningful configuration decisions: which card type to queue, how large to make the queue, balancing manual vs. automated scratching, and when to pause the bot during peeking sessions on trap-heavy cards.
๐ HOW TO UNLOCK THE AUTO SCRATCHER
Reach mid-game โ you need roughly $5,000โ$15,000 balance depending on your Luck upgrades.
Open the Automation upgrade category (fourth major category in the upgrade trees).
Purchase "Unlock Auto Scratcher" โ this is the base upgrade that activates the bot UI.
The bot panel appears on your desk. Set the card type (start with Quick Cash) and fill the queue.
Press Start. The bot begins processing cards one at a time from the queue automatically.
Return to upgrade trees and purchase Extended Queue and Turbo Speed as soon as affordable.

Scratch 1,000 cards total. Auto Scratcher counts toward this. Running the bot overnight on Quick Cash will unlock this naturally.
Have 100 unscratched cards on your desk simultaneously. Temporarily disable the bot and buy cards until you reach 100 โ then re-enable it.
Paradoxically, this achievement requires completing a full run WITHOUT using the bot at all. Do not purchase the Auto Scratcher unlock for that run.
